Warning about UK Wareham ME/CFS clinic

I've been recently diagnosed with ME/CFS and referred to the clinic at Wareham Dorset by my GP. I'm still waiting to be seen however I'm getting some concerning vibes I wanted to warn others about.

I had a telephone call from the clinic about my symptoms where the caller asked if I was "ready to get better".

I asked my GP to be signed off sick for a bit so I could learn to pace. They replied that the clinic told them not to sign off patients completely as it could make them worse. I asked the clinic about this and they denied this, however when I raised a complaint with the GP they told me that they were given yearly rheumatology updates which includes this advice.

So on this basis I have concerns that this clinic believes that ME/CFS is all in the head. The lead clinician also has been around for a long time when these beliefs were standard.
