Match making feels kinda terrible.

Honestly not sure when It started but like Fortnite puts me in the some pretty high tier lobbies. Im no sweat It's starting to make the game pretty hard to enjoy. Sometimes playing with friends help but not always. From what I heard in the past dying enough will lower my kd to help smooth out the lobbies a bit. Besides those two things anyone else know what else I can do? I'm not asking for a easy lobby or a bot lobby I just wish the match making was centered around people on my skill level not people leagues above me.
