[Bug] I failed hot wheels after already placing the IR strobe on the BTR wheels?

Essentially the title, I placed the strobe on the correct piles of wheels in reserve but I was doing a customs raid and saw a place item icon randomly so I completed the prompt and it said I failed the quest. I had to option to complete the following quest of killing the scavs on woods but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I also no longer have the quest even after failing it but I might just need to talk to him to receive the new quest.
