Nepenthes Conditions
I recently just got a Nepenthes Rajah x Burbidgeae BE-3865 and I was wondering what kind of a night temp drop does this specific hybrid need?
My conditions sit around 50% humidity during day and 65% at night. With temps around 75 during the day with temps around 66-70 during the night.
This isn’t the best temp drop I’m aware but I do have a Rajah x Mira that does decent enough in these types of conditions. It has leaf jumps and periodic/occasional pitchers but not constant.
If it would do fine or better than the Rajah X Mira that would be good to hear because I have great luck with that hybrid. Of course since I recently got it there would be some shock from adjustment to my current conditions.
I also have a Nepenthes Edwardsiana Cal Carn Clone and a Nepenthes Hamata Katopasa from Jeremiah Harris. They are in a highland chamber that wouldn’t fit the other Nepenthes I have. They are doing well so no concern with them right now but I was wondering what conditions do I need to put them in when they are too big for that chamber in a year or two? I’m sure I would need to put them in a different room as the rest of Nepenthes since the several grow lights warm the room up. That wouldn’t be too bad for just 2 plants but would they need true cooling or would 65 at night be sufficient for the separate room?
