How close is subnautica 2 to being finished?

I've been trying to avoid spoilers as much as i can. this means no dev logs or gameplay videos or anything like that. I just wanna play the game myself and explore it all on my own and get to experience everything without already knowing everything about the game before even playing it.

i don't really know what is the current state of the game (again don't wanna spoil myself too much) but the thing is that i don't really wanna play it while it's so unfinished that half of the textures are missing and animals clip through walls and if you pull out the wrong tool you get sent into the orbit. so i came to ask if you think that it's good enough to play it now or do you think that i should wait longer for it to be more polished than it is now.
