pls advice me

I need advice. I have mental health issues and was admitted two years ago due to a mental breakdown. The continuous illegal parking of vehicles in my right of way made me very angry, and I ended up keying the whole car. I was mentally unstable at that time, and I already apologized to the owner. Years have passed, and he is now suing me. Please help. I am still struggling with my mental health.
