Spanking at in laws house

My hubby and I have built a marriage with discipline being a big deal. He spanks me regularly to correct my behavior, though it’s something we use as foreplay at the same time. We like that type of dynamic and it works for us, however there’s one issue we just cannot agree on. He wants to have control at all times and have the ability to discipline wherever and whenever he sees fit, which I’ve agreed on previously, but we are now visiting his family and I did something that earned me a few swats hoping that he’d save it for home, but he warned me it’s going to happen before the end of our trip. Every time I try to talk him out of it he’s not even listening and just tells me I asked for it. Has anyone ever successfully changed the mind of a man in a similar scenario? I don’t want his family to hear me get spanked or cry. I can try to hold it, but I never know how far it’ll go. When I bring it up he says it’s not important and I shouldn’t worry about what other people are hearing if I didn’t care about his feeling earlier, but it’s an entirely different story in my opinion. The thought of his family finding out I get spanked for simply not following his word is so humiliating. And I’m completely okay with him doing it, it’s the fact that others will see that makes me so uncomfortable. Is there a way I can get out of this? Has anyone else’s husband refuse to hold back the punishment even on vacation? I’m getting really nervous and would hate to see them afterwards
