Mauviel M'Cook Accessories Stockpot with Lid 24cm 9.2l

I just had the M'Cook delivered and it's thinner than I expected, around 1.5mm all round. I thought it would be 2.6mm like the rest of the line.
I'm replacing my GreenPan ceramic 24 cm/7.6l stockpot, and prefer ss.
Usage is generally batch cooking casseroles so around 8-9 litres is ideal, and the smaller 5.8 litre M'Cook is too small.

I don't know whether to return it and keep looking or take the risk of burning food.

Does anyone here own this thinner version and how do you find it?
