Unexpected Gen 2 Upgrade After Dashboard Replacement 🤯

I own a Gen 2 Ather, and after a recent dashboard replacement at the service center, I noticed something completely unexpected.

My scooter now has features that I had never seen on my Gen 2 before, including a fully working Auto Hold feature. It also appears to have picked up several UI and software features that I associate with the newer generations.

I'm not claiming every Gen 2 will get this, but this is what I observed on my own scooter after the dashboard replacement.

Has anyone else with a Gen 2 who received a replacement dashboard experienced the same thing?

I'm really curious whether:

Ather is now shipping newer dashboard hardware/firmware as replacement parts.

The newer firmware enables features that weren't previously available on Gen 2.

Or if this is a one-off case.

I'd love to hear from other Gen 2 owners who've had their dashboards replaced.
