Review: Tribulation of Myriad Races by u/RoutineCulture9964
This is a fairly enjoyable read with an interesting premise and setting. The MC is overpowered, but at least his strength feels earned since he genuinely works hard to improve.
My biggest issue is his personality. He's often careless, petty, and unnecessarily confrontational, creating problems for himself that could have been easily avoided. Instead of coming across as confident, he often feels like someone with anger management issues, which made him less enjoyable to follow.
As for romance, there really isn't any. Several side characters try to marry him into their families, but he shows no interest whatsoever.
I ultimately dropped the novel because it shifted away from what initially interested me. Rather than using his knowledge and abilities to invent new things or develop the world, the story mostly turns into the MC going from one fight to the next, which wasn't what I was hoping for.
