Just got my test results
32 male, 101 kg. Pre diabetic .Got my test results today.
Creatinine - 1.2 (was 1.4 in May)
Cystatin - 1
24 hour urine protein - 292 mg/day
Calcium - 9.92
Ultrasound revealed subtle renal parenchymal changes.
Will meet the nephrologist on Tuesday. But, I can see that I am getting close to kidney disease or at stage 1/2.
Good news is that I have dropped 20 kilos over the past year. Still have to drop another 15 to reach safe weight (185 cm height). Watching what I eat and sticking to homemade food. If in the office sticking to veggies and little amount of carbs. Strict sodium control. No sugar or very little.
The plan is to drop weight. Build muscle. Drop the Hba1c below 5.6 (currently at 6). I alternate between walking 5km+ and resistance training every other day and it is working.
I thank this sub for the valuable lessons and precautions which have helped me.
