is this a dumb compromise of ai and society?
what if everyone learned coding and renewable energy as core curriculum in school? the more people who can code the more we can improve ai faster, have a vested interest in figuring out how to integrate the need of data centers painlessly (unlike the current approach), and the people can have more control of technology by having a hand/vested interest in the solution and being educated in the basics. it’s not going anywhere soon. this will force companies hand to be more transparent and protect their customer bases. other countries have figured out solutions that we could model ourselves after. those topics are the lynchpin of it all, that understanding, as it feels like there is a overwhelming push to make the internet too easy to the point we have no idea how to really use it. it’s completely phased out. it almost like how a dead language is formed. in the same breathe, renewable energy is our future, as we are on a direct path the humans race extinction. this would be the best win-win situation for everyone on earth. that way ai can’t ever really take control as people fear, thus people do not mind letting it have their information with their discretion. people will be more inclined to vote for politicians who push for some job security in the age of ai, regulation of its use, and some kind of watermark system. times are bleak in america due to the investment in ai. we are going to see a crash worse than the 1920s. the collapse of ecosystems. this truly is the only way to make it work for all parties; the people will gain an upper hand and the at companies will be able to reach levels they only dream possible. anyone opposed will push to create apocalyptic world. invest in a plan for a thriving america.
i’m exhausted. we need to try something new. this is just a stab at mediating. i am not supportive of current data centers, thus highlighting how other countries have resolved the issues our communities are facing. companies are choosing to not go a renewable path because it is more expensive. if we push data centers to go green we can create jobs, open new fields of education, and have a revival that will cause a ripple of change within our nation affecting every person who calls themselves an american. sorry for being defensive of my thought lol
