When can I put fan directly on my baby?

I know the advice, no fans because it can dehydrate babies etc

But when are we actually allowed to put fans directly on babies, my baby is nearly 5 months old and I’ve tried googling but I just keep getting the same ‘never put fans on babies as it dehydrates them’

And does it apply to all fans e’g baby fan prams vs standard fans?
