I'm going to be a junior and haven't had my first kiss...

Like the title says, I am going to be a 16 year old (17 in Feb) junior and never kissed anybody or really have had anything physical with a girl. I've had one talking stage and a girl that I am currently with but the most I've done was a hug and kinda held hands. But even that hug felt awkward, I kinda suspect that my girlfriend will eventually want more but I feel weird about that stuff, idk why because the thought of it is nice but when I'm with her, I can only ever just admire her and it feels wrong to get super close. I also want to add that I am a slightly above average looking guy, I'd rate myself a 7-8, so thats never been the issue. Another thing is I feel great and it isn't really an issue but I would like tips on how to overcome my fears and awkwardness and/or what to expect when that time comes.
