Should the “age of consent” and the “age of marriage” be standardized to a Federally mandated age in the USA?

Or should the States continue their own ages that range from 16 to 18? A few states even have with “parental consent“ and “religious” exemptions that can go even way below that…that create loopholes for minor and adult relationship.. is this best left to the States?
