i really hate seeing people trying to out-niche eachother

this type of scaling pisses me off soooo fucking badly. i really could not give less of a fuck about the fact, that your favourite show has a 2 fans in total, one of them being you. literally what are you trying to even prove here? it pisses me off even more typing this, because what is the point of out-niching somebody? „oh, yeah, i watch more unknown shows than you, that renders me cooler than you heheheaw!“, WHAT are you trying to achieve? you want to make certain parts of you secretive, so people can fill in the gaps and assume things about you, that actually far exceed your own person? you want to be seen as someone you‘re not, because you can‘t actually become that ideal self, like, ever? literally what do you want, stop pissing me off with this bullshit i don‘t care how niche your shows are FUCK OFF
