**I gave JEE this year along with 12th boards. I got into Allen Mumbai in 2024 with those dreams of IIT like everyone has and today I would like to share some of my experience after everything is done finally.**

* Starting for me was rough of course, getting thrown into the sea of JEE that too I was sent to the star batch because I had performed exceptionally in 10th boards 💀. There were all toppers who were into olympiads and jee from earlier only and it was very tough to manage with the pace of the class. The teachers would barely teach and give a question which the toppers would instantly solve and the teacher would move on to the next topic. Soon after a few classes I started feeling suffocated and left behind. I realised that those promises of 1 on 1 mentoring and teaching from basics are just nothing but a scam, so I started relying heavily on online lectures of PW etc.
* This decision of online lectures paid off and now atleast I was able to understand the topics and make proper notes because of which I was able to do decent in the weekly tests as well. I started getting around 100/1600 rank within Mumbai on an average. A lot of my friends were still stuck in the loop of being dependent on Allen, but when they realised that things were getting out of their hands it was too late.
* 1 year passed away like this and now it was 12th class, the biggest year of my and many other's life probably. They would keep extra tests and honestly after one point it became very exhausting.. it felt like I was only running behind tests and not studying anything. Those star batch tests from Kota were awfully tough and it felt like I was wasting 6 hrs everyday just by sitting in the exam hall and looking at the paper. Moreover the teachers had now almost stopped teaching as if it was our job to memorize everything from the module. The Maths teacher would send a pdf on the whatsapp group and tell us to write down the theory and try the questions from here.. Yes!! He won't even teach one bit. Only our physics teacher was good and taught properly. I'll write separately in a comment below about our Organic chemistry ma'am too because that's one hell of a story 💀
* During the exam period January - May, I would stop going to Allen of course and anyways they only conducted revision lectures during that time just so they could show the parents that they were conducting some lectures atleast. By this time they had already received new funding from the 2028 batch so they barely cared anymore about us. After the advanced results were declared we expected like every year that they would put up a list of all the people under 10k rank but surprisingly they did nothing, even the celebrations were very dull because the best was AIR 74X from our centre and they expected below 200 atleast. Putting up something like 74X would bring utter shame to Allen. This is how result oriented such coaching centres are.. They promise 24\*7 doubt support etc. but when u message the teachers they reply after 2 days and the doubt counters are only there for 1 hour where it is heavily crowded.

**Therefore we must work hard ourselves and not get emotionally attached to these coachings who only care about the money and final result. There are many other things to share but its difficult to write down that much... Would like to hear other's experience as well ✌🏽**
