Mac got bug when i plug my iPod

Hello everyone, yesterday I noticed some issues when connecting my iPod classic 6th generation to my Mac. First, in the Finder under the iPod settings, the loading screen spins indefinitely and never displays anything. But the strangest part is that some apps simply won't launch anymore or are glitchy, yet as soon as I unplug the iPod, everything goes back to normal. A week ago, I synced some music and videos and everything worked perfectly. I couldn't find anything useful online, so I'm turning to you. Thanks for your help
