Anyone using the ASUS Zenbook 14 (2026) Core Ultra 9 285H (32GB/1TB OLED)? How has your experience been?
Hey everyone,
I'm planning to buy the ASUS Zenbook 14 (2026) with the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, OLED touchscreen (UX3405CA-QL1113WS) and wanted to hear from people who actually own it.
My primary use case is:
- VS Code
- Android Studio (including emulator)
- Claude Code / AI coding agents
- Multiple Docker containers
- Lots of Chrome tabs
- GitHub projects
- Local LLMs (lightweight)
- n8n AI automations and workflows
- Occasional Photoshop/Figma
- General productivity and multitasking
A few questions:
- How is the real-world performance for coding and AI development?
- Does it throttle under sustained workloads?
- How are the temperatures and fan noise?
- How's the battery life during programming?
- Any issues with sleep, drivers, Wi-Fi, or Windows?
- Is the keyboard comfortable for long coding sessions?
- Any regrets after buying it?
I'm planning to keep this laptop for 4–5 years, so I'd really appreciate any long-term impressions or things I should know before purchasing.
