Weekend Reminder: Stay Safe While Making Connections
Happy weekend, everyone.
Just wanted to put out a small reminder to the community.
Over the past few days, we've seen a noticeable increase in posts from women, couples, and members of the LGBTQ+ community looking for hangouts, casual meetups, or intimate connections.
There's nothing wrong with consenting adults wanting to connect. But don't let the excitement or your horniness cloud your judgment. The same posts that attract genuine people also attract scammers, catfish, blackmailers, and people looking to harass or exploit others.
Please take a moment to verify who you're talking to before sharing personal information or agreeing to meet. Trust your instincts. If something feels off, it probably is.
If you notice suspicious posts, fake profiles, or anyone trying to profit from or abuse this community, report them to the moderators. It helps us keep this space safe for everyone.
If you've already found yourself trapped in a scam, facing harassment, or being blackmailed, don't stay silent. Reach out to your friends and, if needed, contact the police or the appropriate legal authorities.
This subreddit exists to help people make genuine connections and have fun, not to become a marketplace for scams, exploitation, or personal profit.
Have a great weekend. Enjoy your casuals, one-night stands, relationships, or whatever you're here for, but stay safe, respect each other, and make smart choices.
