Vedic astrology and people who take extreme steps

I have been thinking about cases like Twisha's husband and now the Siya Goyal case.

From a Vedic astrology point of view, what kind of chart combinations can make someone take such a drastic step? Combination of many difficult placements and dashas?

Has anyone here studied charts of people involved in such cases? What patterns have you noticed?

My personal perspective

Firstly, we should judge the entire chart, including strength of Lagna, Moon, dasha, divisional charts. And should be viewed as risk factors, not deterministic indicators.

Afflicted Moon like being hemmed by malefics (Papakartari), conjunct or aspected by Saturn, Mars, Rahu, or Ketu without benefic relief, debilitated and weak or being lord of the 6th, 8th, or 12th under heavy affliction

Mars + Rahu can indicate impulsive violence, rage, cruelty

Saturn + Rahu can indicate resentment, bitterness, emotional coldness, obsession

Mars + Saturn can indicate frustration, violence, suppression, explosive anger

Weak Jupiter = less internal moral restraint.

8th house heavily afflicted = fascination with violence, taboo, manipulation

6th lord influencing Lagna and badly afflicted: conflict seeking, litigation, enemies everywhere, aggressive personality

12th house afflicted especially involving Rahu and Mars, can point toward clandestine behavior.

No nakshatra is "criminal." However, certain nakshatras have powerful shadow expressions.

Examples include:

Ashlesha - manipulation, psychological control, poison, deception

Ardra: destruction, rage, emotional storms

Mula: complete destruction, nihilism, uprooting

Jyeshtha: domination, jealousy, abuse of authority

Bharani: excess, sensual obsession, extremes

Dasha matters - even severe combinations may never manifest unless activated. Someone may carry these combinations for decades without violent behavior.

Protective factors or cancellation - strong Jupiter, strong Moon, Benefics in kendras, benefic aspect on Lagna, strong 9th house, good Navamsa.

What astrology can describe is tendencies and timing, not certainty. Environment, upbringing, mental health and personal choices remain crucial in determining whether those tendencies are expressed constructively or destructively.
