Abigail (2024)

I’m a fairly big fan of horror movies, good and shit, and Abigail was a fairly interesting movie for me to watch because of its take on vampires.

The movies premise is fairly easy to understand; group of Mercs get hired to kidnap a child and take her to a location and watch her for a night, only that child is a vampire and the father of said child is the one who hired the group, throughout the movie we are shown different aspects and abilities of vampires like the well known ability to conceal their fangs as well as their enhanced physical capabilities like strength and regeneration.

The movie itself wasn’t bad nor was the story it was pretty good, the only thing that offset me was the fact that when exposed to sunlight the vampires or the thrall would explode, I thought it was more of a slow agonizing burn or a quick turn to a pile of ash.
