Strange wake up

I had a dream I ate delicious food when all of a sudden I heard a man scream in an unnatural way and I woke up. I thought maybe it was the sound of a car outside since I live by a busy road and I left my window cracked open since it’s a hot night (I live on an upper floor). Also my throat is now a little sore so I hope I’m not sick. I was only asleep for a couple of hours and I do have two roommates but I don’t think they screamed.
