What was your favourite moment of the chapter and why?

Mine has to be the Weird route scene. Honestly may even be my favourite moment of the game.

I knew the weird route was dark but I never expected it to go THAT dark. I am really hard to disturb but this scene managed to do that for me. I sat there staring at the screen for so long.

Everything about it was just perfect. The music is perfect. The talk sprites are perfect. Noelle’s monologue made her character felt so real and recontextualised everything we’ve seen from her so far. They could’ve gone down the route of us taking control of Noelle but this is so much worse.

It became even more incredible when I realised that they likely went out of bounds. I can’t wait to see where the route goes next.

As much as I love Undertale, the Genocide route didn’t affect me anywhere as much as this route has, Toby has definitely stepped up his game.
