[25/F] Looking for genuine connections to break out of my Anti-social phase...
Hey everyone.
25F here. I’m reaching out here because I’ve realized my world has shrunk a bit too much lately. I work from home as a freelance writer, which means my daily human interaction is pretty close to zero. Between the remote work setup, college friends drifting in different directions due to distance or differences in opinion, and a few past bad experiences/traumas in friendships and relationships, I’ve realized I completely shut myself off from human communication.
I’m struggling to talk to people lately, no matter who it is, and I really want to break out of this cycle.
I’m looking for people with whom I can build a meaningful connection, start socializing again, and have actual, deep conversations.
A little about me
- I am incredibly introverted at first, but once I feel comfortable around someone, I will talk like crazy and never shut up.
- I love reading and writing. Because of that, I’m curious about almost everything under the sun.
- I’m not the most adventurous person out there. I’d love to talk about philosophy, psychology, science, human emotions, or just how your day went.
Who I’m looking for
- Preferably between 25 to 30
- People who can have deep conversations and communicate things rather than be quiet.
- I’m open to talking to both men and women, but I’d honestly really appreciate making some male friends. Past relationships have left me with some pretty negative biases about men, and I want to shatter that perspective by building healthy, platonic male friendships.
- If you are from a different country, that’s a huge plus! I’m really interested in learning different languages and broadening my perspective while working on my communication skills.
If you’re also looking for a meaningful connection and are down for actual conversations, please hit me up!
P.S. it would be nice if you say a bit about yourself in the comments rather than send blank DM invites.
Looking forward to connecting with y'all!
