What makes Risotto Nero so popular?

This is just my personal opinion so it doesn't really mean anything and I genuinely want to understand why he's so popular

I don't hate him but I honestly can't understand why he's loved this much and sometimes it even feels a little excessive

He's so popular that I've seen people happy about Narancia's death just because he was the reason Risotto died and I've even seen people say he would've been a better main villain than Diavolo even though Diavolo is objectively much more connected to the story

I don't really find anything that special about him besides his design

As for his Stand the entire series is full of incredibly creative Stands so I don't think his really stands out among them

There are other villains who left a much stronger impression like Vanilla Ice because of his fight and how important he was to Polnareff's character that fight is also one of the best in the entire series

Kira's father was extremely important to Kira's character and helped explain many of his actions he also survived until the end and played a role in the final battle

I think Wamuu is just as enjoyable as well thanks to his honorable warrior archetype and his fight with Joseph

I'm not saying those characters are way better but they at least seem on the same level as Risotto to me

Risotto died and didn't really have much impact afterward it almost felt like he existed just to show how overwhelming Diavolo was

(That scene where Diavolo erased time to avoid the bullets was genuinely amazing)

Just to be clear this isn't hatred toward his character I'm genuinely curious what other people see in him
