Looking for pulmonary surfactant (Infasurf/Survanta) for research

Hi everyone!

I'm an undergraduate Biology student currently working on my thesis. Our project involves differentiating monocyte cell lines into alveolar macrophages, and the protocol requires the addition of a clinical pulmonary surfactant.

We've been trying to source Infasurf (calfactant) or Survanta (beractant). Unfortunately, none of our usual laboratory suppliers carry these products.

I've already spent quite some time emailing suppliers, pharmacies, and medical representatives, but I still haven't had any luck. I also don't personally know any neonatologists, pulmonologists, or hospital pharmacists to ask directly, so I thought I'd try reaching out here.

If anyone happens to know:

• A distributor or supplier in the Philippines
• Hospitals or NICUs that commonly stock these
• Medical reps or companies that handle neonatal surfactants
• Researchers who have used these products for in vitro work
• Or literally any lead at all

I'd be incredibly grateful.

We only need one vial for research purposes, so even if you can simply point me toward the right person or institution to contact, it would be a huge help.
