Why would you want to be with someone who has insulted your community and kept playing the push and pull game with you? Help me [29F] understand.

And then make out with them? After they've repeatedly insulted you, or couldn't even do something as small as share their phone hotspot with you? Why would you get attached to someone like that?

Why would you still let them into your flat after catching them with another guy, only to later find out they were already in a relationship and that you were basically just their time pass? Would you still go to that girl's flat when she invited you over for free booze, only to leave when she tried to get intimate with you?

Would you really believe that someone who did all of that for her wasn't expecting anything physical in return or wanted to date them? They even brought her chocolates during that time. And before they left the city, they texted her asking why she never felt anything for them.

Does any of that even make sense? And would you really believe them if they said they didn't do anything else physical with the girl they were chasing?

I am sorry, if my question sounds too juvenile but I have absolutely zero knowledge about all these things and I would like some insights from you all. Again, apologies for such a post.
