Streaming box

Hi,
Apple has increased its Apple TV prices among other devices’ (4K with Ethernet €189=>€299 in France at least) which is HUGE.
However I can still find it on its previous price in some stores.
It lacks AV1 but it deals well with matching framerate options unlike Google TV Streamer or Fire TV sticks.
Is it still a « deal » without AV1 in 2026 at €189 knowing that new will probably release this fall (€299 ?)
Setup: 55C645 TCL TV with Samsung HW-Q600B audio.
