Looking for a nice budget handheld device

Hi everyone,

My spouse and I are looking into a handheld pc to buy. We arent really too sure of which one would be best for our use case. They tend to play lighter indie games and similar games such as Librarian and Powerwash and those of a similar ilk. I would use it to play older triple a games (old Assassins creed, shadow of mordor etc.) as well as Indies (as we have a desktop for the new big releases, and know handhelds might not be quite there yet). Was just wondering if the nice people on this sub had any suggestions that would preferably not break the bank, possibly a budget model that could play our games nicely. We are also in Australia, so some may not be available down here.

Thank you!
