Here is how it works: as you help others plan their trips or share your own experiences, you will earn Travel Points. As you earn points, your user flair will automatically upgrade to show everyone your expertise!

Everyone starts as an Explorer. The more you help, the higher you rank:

Explorer	0 Points
Novice Traveller	10 Points
Frequent Traveller	25 Points
Experienced Traveller	50 Points
Premier Traveller	100 Points
Elite Traveller	250 Points
Legendary Traveller	500 Points

❓ How to earn points on "Query" posts

If you create a post asking for help, please use one of our Query flairs:

• Query - General, Query - Itinerary, Query - Award Travel, Query - Transportation, or Query - Hotels & Lodging

When someone answers your question, you (the OP) can reply to their comment with !solved. This will automatically award them +2 Travel Points.

NOTE: You can only award one best answer for the query.

📖 How to earn points on "Share & Guide" posts

If you are sharing a valuable resource with the community, use our Share/Guide flairs:

• Share - Award Travel, Share - Trip Report, Share - Travel Guide, Share - Travel Deals, or Share - Travel Hacks

If you find a guide or trip report helpful, ANY user can reply to the OP with !thanks to award them appreciation points for sharing their knowledge! OP earns +1 Travel Points for each appreciation they get.

(Note: Posts flaired as General - Information or General - Discussion are for casual chat and do not award points).
