Edifier MR4, M-Audio BX4 or PreSonus Eris 3.5?

Purchasing EU/UK

I am not an audiophile, so my standards are probably low.

I have, on my computer, used the logitech x230 2.1 speakers/sub for 20 years and don't really need anything better than this. Heck, I have kept the knob on the sub at the minimum setting and they still make everything vibrate, and it sounds booming a couple rooms away.

This computer is connected to a TV and acts as my main media center: listening to music, watching movies and playing games. I do not produce or mix music. It is a couch setup, but it's a small apartment and a small room.

Whether it's because the cables have frayed over the years or because my setup crept up in the amount of peripherals I keep in a small space, or something else inside my speaker setup failed that I can't diagnose, the fact is I get annoying random noises on my speakers which I have been told can be eliminated by moving to a balanced TRS setup with an audio interface connected to my pc via usb.

My priority is no interference noise and no perceived downgrade in the sound from my old setup.

I have been recommended Edifier MR4/MR3 and M-Audio BX4 as they go for about 100-120 euros on amazon.es (which is where I would prefer to buy the gear).

In fact I already ordered the M-Audio BX4 BT, but now I've started to find a bunch of threads online about them failing in some way or another: crackling noises, overheating, sound only coming out from one of the speakers...

I have 30 days to return these, but I'm worried the problems only surface after long term use, so I'm looking for alternatives right away.

Since I'm spending roughly 75 euros on the audio interface and TRS cables, my budget is pretty tight for the speakers. I'd like them to be under 120 euros, if possible.
