😭second jee droppers what's your age?

I'm a second dropper, and I'm really anxious about my age.

My DOB is December 2006, so by the time I join college I'll be around 20.5 years old. It feels really weird thinking about it. I feel like I'll be the oldest one there.

The reason is that I studied 3rd grade three times.

When I was in 3rd grade, my dad became seriously ill, and we couldn't afford my school fees. The next year, because of financial problems, we moved to my nani's place for a year, where I studied 3rd grade again in the UP Board.

After we came back home, my family wanted me to study in CBSE. But when we went for admission, the principal said that since I was switching from UP Board to CBSE, I'd have difficulty adjusting, so they admitted me to 3rd grade again.

So yeah, I ended up studying the same grade for three years.

Now I'll turn 20 this December, and I'm preparing for JEE 2027.
