Dubbed and Subbed

How important is it that someone watched a dubbed or subbed version of an anime? Is it a big giveaway to their personality? I’ve seen people destroy friendships over this preference. Lemme know your opinions please. (I like dubbed as i can watch it normally without looking downwards and upwards again)
