Do you like the person you could be or the person that you are?
Anyone in their 20's can find this relatable, especially if you create unrealistic/realistic goals to find motivation. Sometimes you wonder, did life give you the lemons that don't make lemonade??? It's like you're going through a lot but it doesn't have any visible meaningful impact...
In my 20's obviously I've been a kid longer than I've been an adult. 20's is about adulting with no experience but how come when we get there you're expected to know what to do. I find myself settling into pressure of what I should be doing now than figuring out what I want to do for the rest of my life.
Wondering if suffering is a choice: do we allow suffering to choose us or do we choose our suffering. Is it easy to avoid comparison when you're experiencing confusion at a time you need to have it altogether...
Wondering what parts are worth it and forgetting to let go of past parts. Wanting to live a life worth dying for then wondering why does life have to have so much meaning.
My purpose for this post is to ask, what reminds you to be present? What make you grateful to be young? What grounds your feeling of being contented with where you are now regardless of what you've failed to achieve thus far?
