Games don’t respect your time anymore
First time poster.
Does anyone else feel like modern games are just 50-100 hour slogs of uninteresting dialogue and fetch quests?
As I’ve gotten older, gotten married and picked up more responsibilities I’ve realised I just don’t have the tolerance for fluff anymore. I’m not interested in side stories or long dialogue heavy cutscenes. I want a game that’s sub 8 hours, has a clear direction and is constantly moving with urgency towards the conclusion.
Thoughts? And any recommendations?
