Why is everyone online so frustrated and obsessed with weaponized labels nowadays? You can't even have a nuanced conversation anymore ?

I’ve been noticing a really exhausting trend on social media and Indian subreddits lately, and I wanted to get your perspective on it. Why does it feel like everyone is constantly frustrated and waiting to attack?

It seems like we have completely lost the ability to have a normal, nuanced conversation. Instead, people just use pre-packaged online labels to completely dismiss the other side:

  • On Gender & Safety: If a guy speaks up about women’s safety, he is instantly labeled a "simp." If a woman speaks up about men's rights or false cases, she is branded a "pick-me."
  • On Ideology: Terms like patriarchy, feminism, and misandry are rarely used for actual structural critique anymore—they are just thrown around as slangs to defame the opposite gender.
  • On Lifestyle Choices: If someone wants to be child-free, they are attacked as "selfish" or "unprepared for the future." In response, some child-free advocates defame parenting entirely, calling kids a burden and parents "selfish" for reproducing.
  • On Wealth: It’s a constant battle of toxic generalizations—rich people looking down on the poor, and poor people dismissing any struggle of the wealthy because "money can't buy happiness."

It feels like you can’t ask a simple question or share an alternative viewpoint without a mob having a one-word label ready to shut you down. Everything has devolved into extreme toxicity, gender wars, and casual slurs against anyone who doesn't fit a specific box.

What do you think is causing this extreme level of frustration and polarization in our society right now? Is it digital burnout, rage-bait algorithms, or are people genuinely becoming less empathetic in real life too?

TLDR(men are d0gs , women are bithe$ and others are g@ys , the person with bread have so many issues but the person without bread only has one)
