Asking for advice + looking for a roommate

Hi everyone,

I'm currently a Master's student at FH Upper Austria in Linz and I'm looking for some advice.

I have the opportunity to rent a nice 2-bedroom apartment in the Starhembergstraße area (close to the city center and FH). The rent is affordable if shared between two people, but I'm struggling to find a reliable roommate who's already living in Linz.

I've already posted on WG-Gesucht, WhatsApp groups, and Facebook groups. I received many inquiries initially, but most people either found another place or are still abroad and need a visa before coming to Austria.

Does anyone have suggestions on where else I could find a reliable roommate? Or are there any other student groups or platforms in Linz that you would recommend?

I'm also open to joining another WG if anyone knows of a room available from September.
