GL Bajaj Direct Admission doubt

I am getting direct admission in GL Bajaj for B.Tech CSE.

I am confused that should i apply for UPTAC counselling or not? No one there told me anything.

I am not a resident of UP so should i apply for UPTAC counselling??

I am really confused because they are giving direct admission even though the college is affiliated with AKTU and only takes admission through UPTAC counselling.

Please if any senior can clear my doubts!!
