Situationship ended on good terms but still wants to talk and whatnot

As the title says it her (FM24)and I (M25) we recently decided that I had to step back from the both of us, also we were long distance btw but man to me it feels like there’s another in picture. Let me tell when we broke things off it hurt me so bad and we were technically never together . So couple things she told me was that she hated how my family still hung out with my ex making it seem like she’s in competition, her constant overthinking about a lot of things and the distance part. So my question to everyone should I stop texting her or what?
