Is it crazy to ask for a “getting to know you” session?

I need to “click” with a woman, so photos aren’t enough. I want to meet up and talk a bit first…maybe some cuddling if it feels right, but nothing more. I’d rather not pay for a regular session for this mutual intro. If all goes well I’d then request a second meeting at full price.

For this reason I’ve thought about asking for a half session, e.g. half an hour if normal is an hour, or half off a normal encounter...is this weird or insulting? I suppose the answer is “it depends/just ask and find out,“ but thought I’d check here first… I’m new to this, if that isn’t clear. :)
