36 [M] Glasgow/Highlands/Scotland - Just what the doctor ordered

Hi there, I'm M, a 36 year old doctor based between Glasgow and the Highlands. I'm giving this a try after taking a break from dating for a couple of years - dating apps and real life were the pits during and after COVID, weren't they? I travel a bit for work so I'm ok really with connecting with people from around these areas or Scotland in general.

I'm taken a leaf out of the kind of headings people see on dating sites/apps so here goes:

To avoid this becoming too lengthy, I'll end off with a couple of prompts (or whatever they call them these days):

Unusual skills - Origami. Ask me what's my speciality origami and what inspired it!

A random fact I love - Apart from human beings, the only other animal that can have leprosy is the armadillo (nine-banded to be exact). :(

My simple pleasures - A quiet day with friends (with or without being the fun uncle). A cool breeze on a warm day. A warm fire on a cold night.

My best dad joke - I once declined to see a patient who had lost the toes of one foot due to a workplace accident. My colleagues were shocked as I had never refused to see a patient before. I explained I was lack-toes intolerant. (For the sake of clarity I need to explain this is a joke and has not happened in real life).

My favourite line from a film - "Don't you want to take a leap of faith? Or become an old man, filled with regret, waiting to die alone?" (Strangely relevant to my current circumstances and also from one of my favourite films - points if you know which film it's from)

I'm happy to exchange pictures early on.

With that, I take my leave. Exeunt
