Madrid Atocha station is badly deisgned

This station for long distance trains is a mess. So apparently there are two floors. Yet it says Nr 14, ok so you stand there and apparently its the wrong spot and one has to be downstairs. Yet on the screen upstairs at nr 14 upstairs it doesnt say anything about it being downstairs

On the big screen its in spanish and it says something like primera and abaj. I dont know spanish and in english above it it says access, but in reality its floor.

Overall it feels like they need to make some changes. Because how is it that I am at the right platform and yet its wrong. They should just make it say on the screen for that number go downstairs or upstairs. Or make it so that the floors are called nr 1 or 0 which they do have in some spots, but its mostly primera or abaj.
