Resorts

I know Hawaii is expensive before everyone comes for me, but holy dooly am I having a hard time finding decent priced resorts for Kauai and Maui. Does anyone have any recommendations for accomodation around $350AUD per night (or under!).
Looking at Kihei on Maui and Kapa’a on Kauai. Thanks!!
