IF YOU CARE ABOUT SUPER EARTH, WAKE UP: Why Matar Bay is our most critical target right now and why losing it is a disaster

Look at the Galactic Map. I know everyone is riding the high of the equipment that we’ll be getting, and trying to keep Alaraph but we are completely blind to a massive tactical disaster unfolding right under our noses on the Automaton front. Matar Bay has officially slipped from our grasp, and we need to rally an immediate counter-offensive to retake it NOW.
Too many divers don't understand how the supply lines work, and it’s about to cost us months of progress. The cold, hard tactical breakdown of why every spare destroyer needs to redirect FTL drives to Matar Bay immediately and GET OFF OF THE BUGS! I love seeing their squishy little bodies blow into lovely E-710 to fuel our democracy, but oil is to be spilled elsewhere.
Matar Bay was the ultimate choke point. Holding it kept three separate Bot sub-factions completely isolated in a small corner of the galaxy. Now that it has fallen, the Automatons are linking Cyberstan directly to the Andromeda sector.
Because we lost this gatekeeper planet, the bots are now opening their major logistics routes. Expect factories to start mass-deploying Jet Brigade platoons and Incineration Corps directly into the Andromeda and Hydra sectors. Worlds that have been safe and cut off from the main bot force for months are suddenly in the direct line of fire.
Losing Matar Bay creates a domino effect across the sectors. It instantly puts five neighboring planets at risk of sudden Automaton invasion. Furthermore, losing this foothold means the defense levels of all connected planets will skyrocket because the bots now have unhindered access to their primary capital supply lines. Thus, raising resistance like crazy and losing this tactical gambit.
We just lost our direct lines to Martale, Meissa, and Choohe. If you ever want to push deep into Bot territory again or successfully clear out the stronghold at Marfark, we need Matar Bay as our staging ground. Without it, our westward offensive options are entirely paralyzed.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS:
IF WE STAY DIVIDED ON FRONTS THAT POSE NO CURRENT THREAT WE WILL LOSE THIS AMAZING FOOTHOLD WE HAVE NOW, AND THIS WILL TAKE US THROUGH THE RINGER! GATHER YOUR PEOPLE, IGNITE FLAMES IN NEW ONES, AND MOST OF ALL HELLDIVERS, SPILL MORE OIL!
