So I ordered something from Etsy and for some reason there is a duplicate. The same item. I messaged the seller a few minutes later and I honestly don't know how this happened. It has never happened to me before on Etsy.

I got this message:

*"Regarding the duplicate order, we have received your message and are checking it. We'll get back to you as soon as possible.*

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We truly appreciate your support!"

And I also got this as I sent a help request:

*"Thank you for reaching out and letting us know.*

*We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, your order has already entered production, so we are unable to cancel it or issue a refund at this stage.*

*We truly appreciate your understanding and apologize that we can't accommodate your request this time."*

I feel devastated about this as it's something I don't need to have a duplicate of at all. It cost about 200€ and I don't think I can resell it either as it's a very specific tool.
I read here [https://www.reddit.com/r/EtsySellers/comments/1irvfft/double\_order/](https://www.reddit.com/r/EtsySellers/comments/1irvfft/double_order/) about a seller who noticed a customer purchasing something twice and who messaged the customer. Turns out it was a mistake and the seller cancelled and refunded.

So the seller can cancel it, right?
What can I do now?

Can sellers cancel order if it was drawn twice?
