I got tired of needing to copy a few recent teams Chat messages to Jira (or anywhere) but loosing author name etc.. so I made a chrome/edge extension, my first one. Any feedback welcomed.

I grew tired of this old issue. Ctrl+c copy in Teams kept dropping the author name and timestamp, and I couldn’t find a workaround that was simple enough to use every day.

Everything I tried still involved manual fiddling or too many steps, so I made a small Chrome/Edge extension that keeps the metadata intact and makes the whole process much quicker. Released it this week!

It supports copying selected messages or the whole conversation, and you can copy to the clipboard for pasting/archiving in plain text, Markdown, or an HTML table.

There’s a 28-day free trial if you want to see how much time it saves you. And as I say I would love any feedback you've got.
