We All are Alone, Pune
Hey everyone,
It's been almost 2 years since I moved to Pune, and lately I've been seeing a lot of posts here from guys in their 20s and 30s talking about loneliness.
I'm 26M, working in IT, earning decently, hitting the gym 5 days a week. I'm an introverted nerd who loves reading and often travels around Pune alone. I've attended just one meetup so far, and honestly, that's okay.
I've been living alone since 2022. Loneliness did hit me hard in the beginning. There were days when it genuinely bothered me. But slowly, I learned to accept it. And once I stopped fighting it, I actually started enjoying my own company.
Boys, I get it. Life is tough. But one thing I've realized is that, at some point, everyone is alone. The sooner you accept that, the lighter it gets.
And no, having a partner doesn't magically fix loneliness. There are plenty of people in relationships who still feel empty inside. Nobody can fill that void except you.
If you don't have a purpose, a goal, or something that genuinely excites you, you'll naturally keep looking for someone else to complete you. But that's not how it works.
So ask yourself honestly:
Are you really lonely...
Or are you just consuming so much social media that it feels like everyone else is living a perfect life while you're missing out?
Go outside. Read a book. Hit the gym.or just get bored ...
The right people usually come into your life when you're busy building yourself, not when you're desperately searching for someone to fix your loneliness.
And life hai - ek baar mili hai, ab koi ho yaa naa ho
Kya fark padta, Khudka saath dete raho
Aur moj karte raho
