Only one eye is affected, other eye is -6.5 myopic, what can I do?

Hi, so my right eye has cataract, the doctor mentions surgery. But my left eye is ok, just myopic. If I get the surgery my right eye will be 0 degrees, but what are my options after that? Like getting glasses, contacts etc.
