👋 Welcome to r/9purple. Let’s talk about space, Eastern traditions, and finding stillness.
Hey everyone, welcome to our new home.
I decided to open this dedicated community because a lot of spaces online can get a bit exhausting. It feels like so much of what's out there is either superficial commercial advice, or people trying to reduce centuries of deep Eastern culture into oversimplified, rigid copy-paste formulas.
To give you a bit of context about who I am—I didn't pick this up from a quick internet course or a trendy book. Because of my family roots, I grew up deeply immersed in these traditional Eastern arts, and I've spent years studying these classical lineages as a dedicated disciple and practitioner. For me, concepts like form school feng shui, Yin-Yang balance, the five elements, and destiny alignment aren't mystical magic tricks. They are ancient environmental philosophies about geometry, human psychology, and spatial flow.
That’s exactly what 9purple is built upon. Our main focus here is the real, practical relationship between the person, the object, and the space. We want to explore how our physical surroundings affect our inner comfort, and how real, raw materials can act as quiet daily anchors to ground us against all the modern digital noise.
Consider this a completely open hub. Feel free to ask absolutely anything here about Eastern culture, traditions, or philosophy. If you are struggling with a frustrating room layout, feeling anxious in your work environment, or just curious about how cosmic balance works in daily life, share your floor plans or drop your questions below.
Let's look at some spaces and build some modern stillness together. Glad to have you here!
